I have centered my Registered Massage Therapy practice on Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. I have a light touch wholistic approach to my Massage Therapy treatments and feel privileged to take part in my patients' healing processes. I work with all ages from newborns to end of life and a range of different concerns. I have an interest in neurological disorders, developmental concerns, emotional and behavioral complaints, chronic pain, child care, infant care, pregnancy and labour.
I believe the body is incredible at healing itself when given the opportunity. My work is to facilitate a favorable environment to initiate the healing process. Using assessment techniques from CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation and complimented by orthopedic testing, I locate areas where the body needs support in healing. I use a minimal amount of pressure to allow the person's body to achieve self-correction. "From minor causes flow major effects."
Treatments include assessment, health history intake questions, treatment and homecare suggestions. Please be aware when booking appointments some people need time to integrate the treatment afterwards, I suggest non-strenuous activities after treatment.
